Belts · Patch 1.0.4
Moon Sweepers conveyor belts
Conveyor belts move capsules of dust and stone. Since patch 1.0.3 you can set a carried capsule onto a belt where you aim, and splitters and mergers snap port to port. Patch 1.0.4 lets any crewmate add those pieces to someone else's belt, and mergers alternate. Capsules no longer fall under foundations when a belt is removed.
- Splitters and mergers snap port to port, since 1.0.3.
- A carried capsule can be put onto a belt at the point you aim, since 1.0.3.
- Crew-built splitters and mergers work again as of 1.0.3, and as of 1.0.4 any player can add them to another player's belt.
- Mergers alternate inputs as of 1.0.4.
- Removing a belt no longer drops capsules through the foundation, as of 1.0.4.
- Dust and stone that reach the intake by belt are paid as they arrive, at the number on the screen, as of 1.0.3.
Questions
- Do mergers still favor one input?
- Patch 1.0.4 says mergers now alternate between their inputs. If a diagram from launch week shows one belt starving, rebuild the junction on 1.0.4 before you trust the diagram.
- Can I refund a belt I placed wrong?
- The notes do not describe a refund percentage. They do say capsules no longer fall beneath foundations after a belt is removed, and launch-week players said buildings cannot be moved. Pick the belt up only after you have seen what the game pays you back on your own screen.
