You start with a toothbrush. That is the only cleaning tool the store page names. Patch 1.0.4 adds night vision goggles as a $350 suit upgrade on N, and it moves helmet lamp upgrades to the supply wall. Width, speed, and the price ladder past the toothbrush are not in the notes, so this wiki does not invent tool pages for them.

- Buy it when you keep stopping because you cannot see, and you already have a depot. The goggles remove shadows, so switch back to the lamp with N while you are placing foundations or judging a gap. That judgment is from the patch's own description, not from a timed shift.
